they have really nice racks on the trains. The slow trains, that is.
Today we finished our riding in the port of Salerno and went to the
train station to return to Rome. The slow trains that would accept our
bicycles would involve 3 connections and take 6 hours. The fast train,
which has no room for bikes, was direct and would take 2 hours (and
would be cool to ride).
We heard we could take the bikes apart and put them in bags, so...
A very nice porter let us on the train, and away we go, a Roma!
